Symposium for Reinhard Roetzel
On the occasion of the 70th birthday of our colleague Reinhard Roetzel, former head of the Sedimentary Geology Department, who is still active in scientific research, the Basic Geological Services Division hosted a celebratory symposium on 29 January 2026, which was attended by more than 60 people.
The laudatory speeches highlighted Reinhard Roetzel's role as a bridge builder between generations, countries, institutions and disciplines (both interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary).
