CCS in saline Aquifers and its competitive usage of the subsurface

"Compete” deals with the aspect of competing uses of the subsurface between CCS and geothermal energy.

"Compete” deals with the aspect of competing uses of the subsurface between CCS and geothermal energy. For this purpose, spatial datasets are used to intersect CO₂ storage formations with other subsurface use options, and potential conflicts are identified. In the course of the project, a formation in which this usage conflict could occur is identified and evaluated.
